Highway Call Band
Arlington Days 70s Theme Kickoff Party

A true piece of South Dakota rock-and-roll history is coming home to Arlington Days! Highway Call Band has entertained audiences across the state for decades with a crowd-pleasing mix of classic rock, country rock, blues, rockabilly, surf, doo-wop, and classic country. With roots dating back to 1985 and induction into the South Dakota Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2022, Highway Call brings the experience, musicianship, and live energy of a band that knows how to turn a room into a party.

For this special Arlington Days performance, Highway Call is building the night around the unmistakable sound of the 1970s. This will not be a typical mixed-cover show – it is a full 70s-focused kickoff designed to transport the crowd back to the decade of arena rock, cruising songs, and all-night dancing.

Friday, July 31, 8:00 PM — 1481 Roadhouse Grille

Prizes for the best 70s-themed and patriotic costumes.

Travis Denison
Live at Converse Wine Co. & the Street Dance

South Dakota singer-songwriter Travis Denison brings original country music, familiar favorites, and years of live-performance experience to Arlington Days. His growing catalog includes the 2022 full-length album Me Myself & I, along with songs such as “King of These Strings,” “Blink of an Eye,” “I’m Free,” “What We Do,” and “Honey I’m Home.” His 2024 single, “Roll On Mississippi,” adds another standout release to a body of music rooted in country songwriting and acoustic performance.

Catch Travis first in the relaxed setting of the Converse Wine Co. Open House, where his acoustic set will provide the perfect soundtrack for an afternoon of wine, food, and friends. Then follow him downtown as he helps kick off the Arlington Days Street Dance and gets Main Street ready for a huge Saturday night. It is two chances in one day to enjoy a genuine South Dakota performer, great live music, and the kind of small-town celebration Arlington Days is all about.

Saturday, 3:00–6:00 PM — Converse Wine Co. Open House
Saturday, 8:30–9:30 PM — Street Dance on Main Street

Street Dance Cover: $10

Lizzy Hofer
Headlining the Street Dance

South Dakota singer-songwriter Lizzy Hofer brings a high-energy, full-band show built for a summer street dance. Her genre-bending sound blends country, pop, rock, folk, and alternative! Along with audience favorites and requests, Lizzy brings original music including “Don’t Turn Me Down,” “Stuck on You,” “New Kind of Lonely,” and her 2025 EP, Should’ve Known Better.

Lizzy and her band will take over Main Street with powerhouse vocals, professional production, and a setlist designed to keep the crowd singing and dancing. She has performed around the country, won roughly a dozen talent competitions, and built years of experience entertaining live audiences. Gather your friends, hit the street, and close out Saturday night with one unforgettable Arlington Days show.
